Season 3, Episode 2: Cattle Killers | Originally Aired on February 11, 2009
Something mysterious and violent is killing cattle of the North American plains, but what is behind these gruesome attacks: satanic cults, an unknown predator, or something previously unknown to man? For forty years, there have been thousands of cases of cattle found mutilated under abnormal circumstances; these livestock are found dead, often with their blood drained and organs or body parts removed from their bodies. Abnormally high radiation levels have been detected in the soil near the dead animals when they are found, and the deaths often do not match the pattern of known scavengers. With no apparent footprints or tracks leading to or from the carcasses and strange circles near the site, the mystery only deepens. A MonsterQuest team will gather samples and head to a laboratory to scientifically analyze the most compelling evidence.

The show was very interesting. This has been going on for a long time, even here around my farm, I can recall a couple of times finding cattle this way.
The lovely vet doing the testing is of intrest also
where is she from, and what was her name.
Jim, are you refering to the forensic investigator (bison case and night experiment with herd of 15 cattle)? If so, her name is Barb Campbell and she is from Paynton Saskatchewan Canada.
I am wondering when a DVD will become available on this episode?
History used to put out episode DVDs quickly, but since full seasons are so much popular, I don’t know if they are changing their business practices. Personally, I would love BluRay complete season sets.
Still do I see DVD’s on the episode prior to and after. Hmmm
has any one ever thought these killings were caused by lightning strikes. Makes sense.. Any one else think so..
Lightning is always a possibility, but it couldn’t possibly explain them all or even a majority of the cases.
